The dynamic six-show lineup includes The 39 Steps, a madcap thriller adapted from the popular Alfred Hitchcock movie; Marie and Rosetta, a play with music about the early rock ’n’ roll legend Sister Rosetta Tharpe and her protégé Marie Knight; the holiday favorite Charles Dickens’ A Christmas Carol; August Wilson’s powerful story Joe Turner’s Come and Gone; English, a Pulitzer Prize-winning play by Sanaz Toossi; and for the season closer, the IRT is thrilled to produce the regional premiere of the new hit American musical Come From Away.
