Two signs summer is around the corner:
1. We raise The Sails at the Eiteljorg Museum. Stowed for the winter, The Sails are hoisted aloft and unfurled from the masts above the Canal, where they provide shade for outdoor events. Thanks to our friends at the @indianamuseum intrepid crew brought their lift and installed The Sails.
2. We turn the valves so water dances through the Deer Fountain after being shut off all winter. Featuring the splashing “Whitetail Deer,” the bronze sculpture by Ken Bunn is part of the Richard and Billie Lou Wood Fountain.
The return of The Sails and the flowing Deer Fountain are the symbols of summer at the Eiteljorg. We hope to see you at the museum soon!
